    Event Description:
    Writer-Producer George Colburn will show "sneak peek" segments of his unreleased film at a Friday,June 2nd event at Freshwater Gallery in Boyne City. Robin Lee Berry, co-owner of Freshwater, will premiere "Gone Wild," the song she wrote as the film's theme song. She will be joined by a dozen Boyne City Elementary School students, aka the Boyne City Hemingway Youth Choir under the direction of Erin Zucker. Other presenters include local historian Ed May and Michigan Hemingway Society President Christopher Struble, who will tell tales and show photos of rough-and-tumble early 20th Century Boyne City, where young Ernie and friends often sought entertainment. Scott Mackenzie will MC the event, which will include door prizes and a social time that will include refreshments between the music and the film screening.  Film website.
    Fees/Admission:
    Tickets are $25 in advance, $35 at the door, reservations are encouraged because seating will be limited to 120 people. Showtime is 8 p.m. Call Freshwater for tickets, 231-582-2588.
