    Name: Rachel's Vineyard Presentation
    Date: February 11, 2018
    Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM EST
    Event Description:
Rachels Vineyard –Healing the Pain of Abortion- One Weekend at a Time On Sunday, February 11, Boyne Valley Catholic Community's Human Life & Dignity Ministry will be hosting a session entitled, “Rachel’s Vineyard, Healing the Pain of Abortion - One Weekend at a Time.” The session will be held from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at St. Matthew’s Church in Boyne City. Pizza and chocolate will follow with an opportunity for one on one questions and conversation. The evening will bring awareness and provide important information regarding the physical, emotional and spiritual effects of abortion and the healing available through Rachel’s Vineyard weekend retreats. The session will include testimony from a post-abortive man, who now serves on the Rachel’s Vineyard team, and shares his story from pain to healing. Other team members will also provide insight and be available for questions. The weekend retreats offer an opportunity to get away from daily pressures to focus on the buried emotions of the past and the walls that have limited lives due to the effects of abortion. Rachel's Vineyard is a safe place to renew, rebuild and redeem hearts broken by abortion. Weekend retreats offer a non-judgmental, safe and caring environment where women and men can express, release and reconcile painful post-abortive emotions to begin the process of restoration, renewal and healing. It creates a place where men and women can share, often for the first time, their deepest feelings about their abortion. Participants, who have been trapped in anger toward themselves or others, experience forgiveness. A sense of hope and meaning for the future is re-discovered. Rachel's Vineyard is therapy for the soul.A Rachel’s Vineyard Weekend Retreat is scheduled for April 27-29 at the Augustine Center in Conway, Michigan.
