Wine & Dine offers gourmet experience for
morel lovers on May 14 at the Beach House

You are cordially invited to attend the 5th Annual Morelfest "Wine & Dine" at the Beach House Restaurant at Boyne Mountain (439 E. Deer Lake Road - Directions) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 14. Guests will be treated to gourmet hors d'oeuvres prepared by the Beach House paired with fine wines from Bayside Beverage. Hors d' oeuvres and wine pairings are:
Morel, Ramp, Sweet Onion, Swiss and Gruyere Tart with a Spicy Raspberry Sauce. Paired with Cristalino Brut Rose, Spain.
- Gorgonzola cheese stuffed, Panko Breaded Morel Mushroom, Honey Pollen Reduction. Paired with Chateau Fontaine Semi-sweet Riesling, Michigan.
- Morel Mushroom, Goat Cheese, Prosciutto and Grilled Pizza Crust Laced with Morel Infused Oil and Shaved Parmesan. Paired with Chateau Grand Traverse Gamay Noir Reserve, Michigan
- Sliced Morel Laced Venison Meatloaf with a Michigan Cherry Ketchup. Paired with Las Perdices Syrah-Viognier Blend, Argentina.
- Morel and Crab Stuffed Pierogis with Wild Leek Crème Fraiche. Paired with Black Star Farms Barrell Fermented Chardonnay, Michigan.
Admission is $35 per person. Sponsors of this gourmet event are the Boyne Area Chamber of Commerce, Boyne Mountain and Bayside Beverage.
