Join Jill Jack for her Songwriting Workshop at Lavender Hill Farm. The award-winning Michigan based singer/songwriter Jill Jack will instruct attending songwriters on how she approaches her craft. No instruments will be required for this introductory-scaled course. Jack’s class will be focusing on preliminary songwriting and involve group exercises. Materials for note taking will be provided and songwriters of any level are welcome to attend. Jack’s interactive and visual presentation is designed to be inclusive and non-intimidating for all songwriters.

REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is required to attend this workshop as spots will fill quickly- This class has a minimum and maximum requirement, so sign up today! If the minimum is not met a day prior, the class will be canceled, and you will be notified by the instructor.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR: Jack is an accomplished and celebrated singer/songwriter based in Ferndale, MI. She has released 12 albums that range from soul to rock, to folk to country, adult contemporary to jazz and lullabies. She also runs her own label (Uphill Productions) consulting company (Dream Big, Incorporated) and has her own radio show (Dream Big with Jill Jack). Jack has more than 20 years’ experience as a vocalist/guitarist. This is a unique chance for local songwriters to get their questions answered and find a way to figure out how to craft their own ballads.
