Getting quality health care does not mean traveling far from home. The area is surrounded by quality health care. We are served by two acute-care hospitals, Northern Michigan Hospital, a 243-bed regional referral center in Petoskey, and Charlevoix Area Hospital, a 44-bed community hospital in Charlevoix.

Charlevoix Area Hospital is a community hospital serving Charlevoix and northern Antrim counties, and its staff and medical resources are a match for many big city health care centers. The hospital has two satellite offices in Boyne City, fully staffed with trained, caring professionals. Boyne Area Medical Center and Boyne Rehab Center are used by local residents for non-emergency care and rehabilitation without having to travel far.
