Area residents are invited to start Halloween night with downtown Boyne City's annual costume parade. Everyone is welcome to join the fun - young, old or 4-legged. Bring a chair if you prefer to watch all the great costumes. Line-up begins in front of CindiFranco's, 309 S. Lake St. at 4:30 PM, and the parade begins at 4:45 PM. It will wind around downtown, ending at the entrance to the Fire Department's Haunted House at the Library Red Barn. The Library Community Room will be open for trick-or-treating until 6PM Just one block down, the First Presbyterian Church will feature their famous Trunk or Treat. The city's official trick or treating hours are 5 to 8PM.
