St. Matthew Church is having their Summer Festival on Sunday, Aug. 20 The church is located at 1303 Boyne Ave. in Boyne City. The festival will be held from 12 to 2:30 p.m. Ma's & Brother Bill's Polish dinner will be featured, including Golumpki (stuffed cabbages), sauerkraut & sausage, cream cucumbers, pierogis, dill potatoes, fresh Polish sausage and desserts. Admission is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, $5 for children, and free for those under 4 years old. From noon to 1 there will be live Polka music. Silent auctions will be held from noon to 2:30 and the live auction will start at 1:30. There will be free children's activities including inflatables, pony rides, and games with prizes. A refreshment tent will have popcorn, soda, hot dogs and more. A $4,500 cash raffle will be held with the drawing at 2:30.
