    For its Grand Opening event, the Great Lakes Center for the Arts is pleased to present the Detroit Symphony Orchestra during an unforgettable evening on the shores of Lake Michigan. Join us in celebrating a magnificent moment in this incredible journey, as the Center raises the curtain on a new era of performing arts. This first event is a gala fundraiser to support the Center, ensuring world class programming for all, for generations to come. The internationally acclaimed Detroit Symphony Orchestra is known for trailblazing performances, visionary maestros and collaborations with the world’s foremost musical artists. The DSO’s performances include Classical, Pops, Jazz and Young People’s concerts. On this special evening, the Great Lakes Center for the Arts and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will be joined by the esteemed Interlochen Arts Camp’s World Youth Honors Choir, and other surprise guests.
