Celtic Weekend @ The Boyne River Inn

Boyne River Inn plans Celtic Weekend music and fun March 15-16-17 The Boyne River Inn, the oldest pub building in Boyne City, is honoring Boyne City's heritage with a weekend of fun, music, food and all things Celtic March 15-17. You're invited to color a Celtic knot design and take selfies at our photo station throughout the weekend. Costumes are welcome. Here is the schedule: Friday, March 15 - Irish and Celtic food specials starting at 4 p.m. and continuing all weekend long. At 6:30 there will be a live podcast by 'The Fat Irish Nerd' and friends. Saturday, March 16 - The Boyne City Pub Crawl runs from 11 a.m. through the evening at the BRI and 8 other establishments. Get your passport stamped as you drink (and eat) your way through Boyne City. A Soda Bread Contest begins at 12 noon; everyone is invited to "bring their best and and we'll taste it throughout the day." The Hidden Valley Irish Band performs starting at 5:30-8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 17 - Join us for Celtic stories, poems, music and anything else we can fit in, starting at 1 p.m. The Soda Bread Contest winner will be announced at 1:30 p.m., based on everyone's votes. > Check the Celtic Weekend event page on Facebook for updates.
