The Boyne Area Chamber produces this summer concert series in Old City Park on Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:30 p.m.

July 24 - Mike Dhaseleer - A Boyne City native, Mike Dhaseleer returns to Evenings at the Gazebo to entertain and delight. Throughout the 90's, he started his own company and moonlighted as a one-man-band, playing keyboards and singing in lounges all across the state of Michigan. He took his mom's maiden name "McCaslin" as a stage name. In the early 2000's, he watched fellow dueling piano players, Smoking George and Billy McAllister, play to a packed house at Streeters in Traverse City, MI. The following week, he auditioned for troupe leader, Noel Leaman. It was shortly after this that he ended his career as a cable guy and took up dueling pianos. Residing now in Laingsburg, MI, he continues to play for audiences all across the country and we are lucky to host him back in his hometown again. He will also be on the Lawn at Lynda's Real Estate during Stroll the Streets on Friday, July 27th.
Concert-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, a picnic dinner and perhaps a bottle of wine - but leave your dogs at home. Old City Park is located at the corner of River and Park Streets. For more information or to become a concert sponsor, call the chamber at 231-582-6222.
