Fly-Fishing Weekend

Experience Northern Michigan the way author and literary icon Ernest Hemingway once did during his childhood summers spent hunting and fishing at his family’s cottage on Walloon Lake. Hotel Walloon is delighted to partner with True North Trout on April 22nd to 24th to offer a unique Fly-Fishing Weekend experience in preparation for the Michigan fishing season.
 

The weekend activities and demonstrations will feature casting, fly tying, and fishing alongside a professional guide. The package starts at $350.00 per night based on availability, and includes a hotel room, event costs, and a copy of Flyfisher’s Guide to Michigan by Jon Osborn. Fly-fishing excursions are also available through True North Trout at an additional cost. Availability is limited and reservations are encouraged.
