GLCO presents Fall Color Tour – Exploring Color in Music and Painting

Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO) presents Fall Color Tour – Exploring Color in Music and Painting – on Saturday October 11^th at 7 pm at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts.
Featuring the works of Debussy, Mussorgsky, Haydn, Bach, Wagner and Mendelssohn, this concert, conducted by GLCO Maestro Libor Ondras, explores how composers and visual artists alike use color, texture, and contrast to evoke emotion and tell stories.
Heidi A. Marshall, an award-winning Master Pastellist, will offer reflections on the shared language of art and music, alongside her works of art.
Also featured is violinist Blaise Sytsma-Reed, 2025 winner of GLCO’s annual Young Artist Competition, performing Lalo’s Movement 1, Symphonie Espagnole, with the orchestra.
