MICHIGAN: An American Portrait National Film Premiere

A new documentary about the great Mishigamaa – MICHIGAN: An American Portrait– a film that celebrates the history and legacy of Michigan, will make its national premiere at the Center on September 22. Showcasing footage from more than 80 locations around the state, MICHIGAN: An American Portrait highlights Michigan’s cultural diversity, natural beauty, entrepreneurial spirit, and innovative approach to business through breathtaking cinematography, compelling commentary, and historical archives. Accompanying the documentary footage is an emotionally evocative score from celebrated composer David Barrett and his Ann Arbor-based team.
