March: Barrel Aged Spirits
Join Head Distiller; Kyle Shutz in our Boyne City Tasting Room as he comes to talk about Barrel Aging some of our favorite spirits: Bourbon, Whisky, Gin, Aquavit and Brandy. In this hour long class, you will learn the history of barrel aging, how spirit proof affects flavor, and how we know when it is is right to take a spirit out of barrel. Here at Long Road we know the best way to learn is through tasting, so Kyle will be pouring samples throughout the class.
