Seasonal Employment Opportunities

Summer is just around the corner and who wouldn’t rather be earning money while spending their days enjoying all that Boyne City has to offer instead of being trapped inside all day or evening! Boyne City has opportunities for seasonal summer and part time employment in the City’s marina, parks, public works and water/wastewater departments. The majority of this work is outside and includes lawn maintenance, trash removal and other types of outdoor and light maintenance work that keeps Boyne City looking and running great. Boyne City is looking for people with an exceptional work ethic, the ability to work alone or with others, self-initiate and follow through with tasks while interacting with the public in a positive, professional manner, have a valid driver’s license and in most cases be 18 or older. The Public Works, Parks & Water/Wastewater work schedule is generally Monday - Friday, with few nights or weekends. Marina positions, require evenings and weekends but can provide flexible week to week scheduling, and also calls for strong communication skills, some computer familiarity and includes a variety of daily duties.
