Boyne City, MI - June 14, 2024 - The Boyne City Kiwanis Club is delighted to announce they will be making a generous donation from the Boyne District Library. A check presentation ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 26 at 9:30am at the Boyne District Library, marking a significant contribution to the children’s room transformation.

The Boyne City Kiwanis Club has a long-standing commitment to supporting local initiatives that enhance the well-being of youth and families in the Boyne City area. Their dedication to education and literacy aligns perfectly with the mission of the Boyne District Library.

The donation from the Boyne City Kiwanis Club will play a vital role in supporting various library programs and services, including children's literacy initiatives, and the much needed makeover of the children’s room. These funds will enable the library to expand its reach and impact, ensuring that it remains a vibrant hub of learning and enrichment for residents of all ages.

“ We are delighted that on our 25th Anniversary as a club in Boyne City, we are able to donate $25,000 for the remodel of the children’s room at the Boyne District Library”, said Kiwanis Club President Syrina Dawson.   "With this $25,000, we're sowing seeds of imagination, curiosity, and wonder in the hearts and minds of our children. It's an investment in creating a space where stories come alive, where dreams take flight, and where every child can explore, learn, and discover the magic of reading."
