Farmers Market continues through winter
The Boyne City Farmers Market continues through the winter in the lobby of City Hall from 9 a.m. to noon each Saturday. This year-round Farmers Market is packed full of beautiful produce, greens, homemade goodies and much more. Market Music also continues through the winter.
"We are proud to offer an indoor market for the 10th year. This provides a wonderful opportunity for our community to continue to have fresh produce, locally raised meat and homemade and home-baked items all year. The farmers work hard to extend the produce season for their customers," said Kelsie King-Duff, Executive Director of Boyne City Main Street.
The indoor market features 20 vendors, including: Bear Creek Organic Farm, Spirit of Walloon, Beijo de Chocolat, Providence Farm, Blackbird Gardens, Beehouse Cookies, Cook Family Farm, Daybreak Dreamfarm, Winnie's Originals, Korthase Brothers Sugarbush, Charlevoix Lavender, Charlevoix Moon Artisan Wine, Mini Farm, Siegrist Farm & Greenhouse, Walloon Lake Winery, Big Medicine, The Rustic Baker, Ziibimijwang Farm, Ken's Fresh Fish 'N Tales, and Bluestem Farm.
We are also pleased to announce that, thanks to an MEDC grant and the hard work of our community, work has begun to finish the Veterans Park Pavilion, which will one day host our indoor market.
