Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server / Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Server / Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting drinks, capturing food orders, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, patio and bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and upselling menu items.
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Clover POS or similar systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
- Manage inventory levels, including stocking supplies as needed and tracking usage.
- Provide excellent hospitality by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Skills
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred.
- Clover POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Ability to upsell food and beverage products. Strong bourbon knowledge a bonus.
- Familiarity with products to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with customers and team members.
